Massive upscale bowling and entertainment mecca rolls into San Antonio

San Antonio is pinning down a striking new entertainment destination that’s probably right up your alley.

After a two-year delay caused by the pandemic, Pinstack, the Dallas-based bowling, entertainment, and dining destination, is finally getting the ball rolling on its San Antonio fun hub, located at 742 NW Loop 410, suite 201. Construction is currently underway, with the local Pinstack set to open sometime in the third quarter of 2022.

The new Alamo City Pinstack will be the fifth location for the company, which also has entertainment centers in Plano, Las Colinas, Allen, and Austin. And the business is already pinning down plans to hire hundreds of local workers for the new San Antonio Pinstack.

“We are thrilled to add a new upscale entertainment option to the exciting San Antonio scene for both locals and tourists alike,” says Mark Moore, CEO of Entertainment Properties Group Inc., which operates Pinstack. “We look forward to being a great community partner and job provider. We will bring with us over 200 new jobs to the community.”

The new family-friendly San Antonio Pinstack will be a massive 54,000-square-foot amusement mecca featuring 28 state-of-the-art bowling lanes with lane-side food and beverage service, a stacked game room, hundreds of video games and virtual reality setups, a 24-foot-tall LED-lit rock-climbing wall with six climbing lanes of varying challenge levels, a dangling 20-foot-high ropes obstacle course, laser tag, and bumper cars. So, yeah, if you like a good dose of merrymaking, Pinstack is guaranteed to bowl you over.

But it’s not all fun and games. Pinstack also aims to score points with its focus on modern American cuisine, which it serves lane-side, as well as in the onsite restaurant, on the climate-controlled patio, and in private meeting rooms for groups.

In fact, group events and team-building gatherings are a specialty of Pinstack, which offers private event rooms and bowling lanes for all event sizes that include fully catered menus, dedicated service teams, access to AV equipment, and more.

As any fan of The Big Lebowski will note, it’s paramount that there’s also a beverage here, man. Pinstack definitely abides, with the San Antonio location housing a large full-service bar that will feature an extensive wine list of both bottled and on tap offerings, 24 different draft beers, adult shakes, and an array of cocktails, including, of course, the all-important White Russian.
